Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring a minimum of one year of CVICU experience in a Level I trauma setting and current AHA certifications.

- Work setting is a hospital-based Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (Cardio PICU)
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week)
- CVICU experience in a Level I trauma setting is required for this role
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license (OK state license or current multistate Compact/eNLC license) required
- Minimum of 1 year of CVICU nursing experience required
- Required certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only: BLS and PALS
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include managing an assigned patient group, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, initiating and regulating IV infusions and blood products, and delegating tasks to support staff
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a new contract (prior contracts may only be extended once, up to a total of 26 weeks)
- Compliance requirements (drug screens, background checks, medical requirements) must be completed promptly — this facility strictly enforces compliance deadlines and will not accommodate delayed starts
