Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Scan Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Roswell, NM, requiring 2+ years of experience and NM state licensure with CT certification.

Details

• Day shift position from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Serves both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Rotating call required
• 5x8 schedule preferred; 4x10 may be accommodated
• No floating required
• Uses Cerner and Change Healthcare PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience required
• NM state radiographer license required (license required if applicable)
• ARRT certification with CT credential required
• Current BLS required
• General radiography and OB experience required
• Proficiency in CT scanning of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Experience with studies with and without contrast media, cross-sectional anatomy, and surgical/sterile procedures
• Experience with fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging
• Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the contract start date
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Perform routine and advanced CT exams including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic studies, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging
• Work is performed under the direction of a Radiologist and in accordance with departmental protocols
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• RTO requests must be less than one week for the duration of the contract
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
