Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an inpatient acute care Level 1 trauma setting requiring GE Hi Def or Revolution CT experience and prior travel assignment history.
Details
- Radiology CT department in an acute care hospital setting
- Level 1 trauma facility serving inpatient and outpatient populations
- 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required at minimum, no block scheduling
- 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Uses GE Hi Def or Revolution (top of the line) CT equipment
Additional Information
- MA license required if applicable
- Prior travel assignment experience required, first-time travelers will not be considered
- Peripheral IV skills required, must be able to start IVs on all outpatients
- Must have prior inpatient acute care and Level 1 trauma experience
- GE Hi Def or Revolution CT experience required
- Weekly orientation held every Monday, barring holidays
- Radius rule of 50 miles applies, local candidates generally not accepted though may be considered case by case for hard-to-fill roles
- Candidates who have worked for this health system as travel, perm, or per diem within the last 6 months will not be accepted, and must be separated for at least 1 year to be considered
- Required vaccines include COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine, with medical exemptions allowed
- Pass/fail Tele/ECG and medication testing required for certain campus locations
- RTO requests must be submitted upfront for consideration
