Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring broad surgical experience across multiple service lines and call availability.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• 815-bed facility with 1:1 patient ratios
• Variable procedures performed based on service line needs
• Uses Cerner for documentation
• Shift runs 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on a variable schedule
• Call requirements apply
• May float to other departments as needed
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience required
• Broad surgical knowledge required across service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties
• Facility provides scrubs
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
