Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and blended Med-Surg/Swing Bed/PCU patient care.

Details

• Work in a blended Med-Surg unit that also supports a Swing Bed Program and occasionally cares for PCU-level patients
• Patient ratios are 1:5 for Med-Surg, 1:5-6 for Swing Bed, and 1:3-4 for PCU depending on acuity and drips
• Assignments are balanced by nursing supervisors based on workload and patient care level
• 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
• Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
• Med-Surg background acceptable, with supervisor support for varied patient assignments
