Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift float pool position requiring 2+ years of experience and willingness to work across multiple facilities.

• Med/Surg and Telemetry unit patient population
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Night shift schedule working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM in 3x12-hour shifts
• Requires working 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Float pool position requiring willingness to float between departments and four facilities
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active AZ or Compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license and US SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning safe patient care delivery
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
• First-time travelers may be considered
