Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift float pool position requiring 2+ years of experience and willingness to work across multiple facilities.

- Med/Surg and Telemetry unit patient population
- Patient ratio of 6:1
- Night shift schedule working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM in 3x12-hour shifts
- Requires working 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Float pool position requiring willingness to float between departments and four facilities
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active AZ or Compact RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Valid driver's license and US SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning safe patient care delivery
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
- Delegate patient care priorities and provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
- First-time travelers may be considered
