Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and an IN or compact RN license.
Details
- Acute care Med/Surg unit (4EA) with remote telemetry monitoring and 32 beds
- Telemetry monitored 24/7 for patients with orders
- Patient population includes stable vent patients, BiPAP patients, acute/chronic renal failure, dialysis, and fluid overload cases
- Cares for medical/surgical patients under internal medicine, family practice, and hospitalist services
- Manages IV drips including Dopamine (5mcg constant rate, no titration, for renal perfusion only) and Heparin
- Uses Cerner EMR
- Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Acute care setting experience required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care within a Med/Surg unit with telemetry capabilities
- Collaborate with internal medicine, family practice, and hospitalist teams
