Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring 3+ years of experience and ARRT (R) certification.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the Radiology department, CT Scan unit
• 75-bed facility serving all patient populations from infant through geriatric, including bariatric patients
• Equipment includes GE Lightspeed 16 and 64 slice CT scanners and GE XR equipment
• Uses MedHost EHR system
• 4x10 hour shifts, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36
• Call requirements include every 8th weekend and 1 holiday, with a 30-minute response time
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• X-ray and CT skills required, though CT certification is not mandatory
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required
• KY State Radiation License required if applicable
• Must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a stressful environment

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures across a full range of patient populations
• Work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and dedication
• Black scrubs required as part of dress code, following facility guidelines for approved attire
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to be eligible for travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates must not be employed elsewhere full-time
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
