Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift (7P-7A) travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care L&D experience and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Labor & Delivery unit located on the 2nd Floor Women's area of the Main Building
- 13-bed unit staffed by approximately 40 team members
- Minimum staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 2 RNs, and 1 CST per shift
- Patient ratios are mostly 1:1, following AWHONN guidelines
- Uses GE EFM fetal monitoring equipment
- EMR systems include CPN and Meditech
- Circulate for cesarean sections as part of unit responsibilities
- Manage induction of labor (IOL) using Cervidil, Cytotec, and Pitocin
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment length
- Self-scheduling available on this unit
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- NRP must be Advanced 9th Edition
- Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN certification (or NCCEFM) required for fetal monitoring
- Prior Meditech experience preferred
- Strong OB triage skills preferred
- Must be able to circulate for C-sections
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
