Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift (7P-7A) travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care L&D experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit located on the 2nd Floor Women's area of the Main Building
• 13-bed unit staffed by approximately 40 team members
• Minimum staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 2 RNs, and 1 CST per shift
• Patient ratios are mostly 1:1, following AWHONN guidelines
• Uses GE EFM fetal monitoring equipment
• EMR systems include CPN and Meditech
• Circulate for cesarean sections as part of unit responsibilities
• Manage induction of labor (IOL) using Cervidil, Cytotec, and Pitocin
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Self-scheduling available on this unit

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• NRP must be Advanced 9th Edition
• Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN certification (or NCCEFM) required for fetal monitoring
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Strong OB triage skills preferred
• Must be able to circulate for C-sections
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
