Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Evening shift, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week over 3 days
• Uses Epic for charting
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license in CO or compact license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required, must not expire prior to start
• ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required as appropriate for the unit
• TNCC certification required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on ongoing health data collection
• Provide patient and family health teaching and counseling
• Deliver supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly to patients or through consultation, delegation, or supervision
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for this travel assignment
