Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.
Details
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
- Evening shift, 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week over 3 days
- Uses Epic for charting
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
- May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
Requirements
- Active RN license in CO or compact license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required, must not expire prior to start
- ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required as appropriate for the unit
- TNCC certification required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on ongoing health data collection
- Provide patient and family health teaching and counseling
- Deliver supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly to patients or through consultation, delegation, or supervision
- Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for this travel assignment
