Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of high-volume L&D experience and prior travel assignment history.

Details

• Mother Baby unit in an acute and sub-acute care hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Weekend and on-call schedules to be determined by the facility
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and NIHSS
• Must be willing to obtain EFM certification within 48 hours if offered
• 2+ years of recent, high-volume Labor & Delivery experience required
• Previous travel assignment experience required
• Must be willing to work the facility's schedule without restrictions
• COVID-19 vaccination required with state record documentation; declinations not accepted
• Flu vaccination required; declinations not accepted
• Resume with all gaps over 30 days clearly explained
• One supervisory reference from the last 6 months and one from the last 12 months
• Discipline-specific skills checklist for L&D required
• RN license verification (Nursys) less than 30 days old required

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with professional nursing standards
• Accountable for quality of nursing care delivered by self and those under direction
• Utilize specialized clinical judgment and nursing skills appropriate to patient population
• Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction and no rate change
• RTO requests limited to the equivalent of one week of contracted hours
