Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a day-shift role requiring high-volume L&D experience and prior travel assignment history.
Details
- Mother Baby unit within an acute and sub-acute care hospital setting
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Weekend and on-call schedules to be determined by facility
- Locals accepted with no radius rule
Requirements
- Active MD RN license or compact license required at time of consideration
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, and NRP
- Must be willing to obtain EFM certification within 48 hours of offer
- Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification within 48 hours of offer if not already held
- 2+ years of recent high-volume Labor & Delivery experience required
- Previous travel assignment experience required
- Must be willing to work the facility's assigned schedule without restrictions
- COVID-19 vaccination required with state record documentation; declinations not accepted
- Flu vaccination required; declinations not accepted
Additional Information
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards
- Accountable for the quality of nursing care delivered by self or those under direction
- Utilizes specialized clinical judgment to provide age-appropriate care for assigned patients
- Holiday coverage required for recognized holidays including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
