Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring high-volume L&D experience and previous travel nursing experience.
Details
- Labor & Delivery department setting
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with 36 hours guaranteed per week
- Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility
- On-call schedule to be determined by the facility
- Candidates must be willing to work the facility's schedule with no scheduling restrictions
Requirements
- Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required at time of submission
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, and NRP
- Must be willing to obtain EFM certification within 48 hours if offered
- Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification within 48 hours if offered
- Minimum 2 years of recent high-volume Labor & Delivery experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- COVID vaccination required with state-recorded proof; declinations not accepted
Additional Information
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards
- Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or team members under their direction
- Utilizes specialized knowledge and clinical judgment to provide age-appropriate patient care
- Locals accepted with no radius rule
- No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
