Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend block schedule requiring 1+ year of CT experience and ARRT(R)(CT) certification.

Details

• Radiology/Cardiology department, CT Tech unit
• 3x12-hour day shifts, Saturday through Monday, on a required block schedule (Sat 7a-7p, Sun 7a-7p, Mon 7a-9p)
• Weekend coverage required
• Candidates will float as needed
• EPIC charting system required, GE and PACS equipment used
• Performs abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, chest, and vascular CT imaging with and without contrast
• Utilizes 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement techniques

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience required
• BLS and ARRT(R) certification required, ARRT(CT) required
• IV certification required
• License required if applicable
• EPIC charting experience required
• Skilled in contrast media preparation and administration
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety

Additional Information

• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Candidates must live outside a 75-mile radius from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Previous employees eligible for rehire after a 6-month system-wide break
• Candidates with more than 10 days of requested RTO will not be considered
