Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry RN for a float pool position requiring willingness to work across four facilities and hold an active AZ or compact RN license.

Details

• MS/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting, including Med/Surg, Med/Surg/Tele, Transitional Care, and Emergency Services departments
• Float pool position requiring flexibility to work between four area facilities
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Requires working 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, with no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license and US SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide shift-based nursing care to Med/Surg/Telemetry patients using the nursing process and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in care planning and delegation
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel in delivering patient care
• Any scrub color permitted
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
