Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level III trauma center offering nights, requiring 2+ years of hospital CT experience with GE and Siemens equipment.

• Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds, part of the Yale New Haven Health System
• Night shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 18:00-06:30
• Call and weekend coverage required as needed by department
• Uses GE Optima CT660 scanner along with GE and Siemens equipment
• EPIC charting system used
• Will be required to float between the CT hospital and a facility in RI, requiring licensure in both states
• Free parking available

Requirements

• Minimum 1.5-2 years of hospital CT experience required
• ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and BLS certifications required
• CT and RI state licenses required; license required if applicable, may start with whichever license issues first while the other is pending
• GE and Siemens equipment experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Experience with 3D rendering, MRP, and ROI measurement preferred
• Skilled in abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
• Experience with coronary CTA, CT arthrography, and vascular CTA preferred
• Proficiency in contrast media preparation/administration, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
• 1 reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging across adult and pediatric outpatient, emergency department, and ICU settings
• Support Level I and II trauma cases as part of a comprehensive imaging team
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required except for religious or medical exemption
• Local candidates not accepted within 75 miles of the hospital site
• Former staff must be separated for at least 2 years before returning as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO can be auto-approved
