Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health position requiring HCHB and OASIS experience along with a minimum of 1 year of recent experience.

Details

• Home Health setting providing care to a geriatric patient population
• Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day
• On-call requirement every 6th weekend
• Traveler must remain flexible with assigned territory
• iPad provided; mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate

Requirements

• Current OT license required (if applicable)
• License must be in-hand prior to consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent relevant experience required
• OASIS experience required for completing Start of Care (SOC)
• Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR required
• Current BLS certification required
• NBCOT certification preferred
• Active driver's license and personal transportation required

Additional Information

• Timely documentation and communication with the care team required
• Scrubs required in any color; jeans not permitted
• Monday orientation with mandatory completion of billable modules
• Hospice/Home Health checklist completion required
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Travel pairs accepted, though each traveler is assigned an individual territory and must have their own transportation
• Former permanent employees must be separated for at least 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
• Local candidates will not be accepted for this position
