Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift role requiring 2 years of oncology-related experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a 24-bed inpatient setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Patient ratio of 1:4-6
• Epic charting system experience required
• Floating required to other units or Integris facilities within a 75-mile radius
• Inpatient oncology work setting with exposure to chemotherapy administration and related care

Requirements

• Active RN license (Oklahoma or Compact) required, no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required; Chemo (ONS/ONCC) certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with IV therapy, central line care, and port access/management required
• Experience administering chemotherapy and managing oncologic emergencies preferred
• Skilled in wound care, isolation precautions, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required for consideration
• Utility bill matching current address (dated within last 3 months) required for consideration
• Two supervisory references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive medical-surgical and oncology nursing care, including chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and psychosocial support
• Assist with oncologic emergencies, infusion therapy, and post-surgical care as needed
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates within 75 miles are not eligible for this position
• Maximum of 5 days RTO allowed per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO accepted
• Former Integris employees must have a minimum 1-year separation before becoming eligible for travel assignments
• No block scheduling requests accommodated
