Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or compact RN license and multiple specialty certifications including TNCC and ENPC.
Details
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department
- 12-hour day shifts from 0700-1930
- 36 hours per week across 3 days
- Rotating weekend requirement
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call may be required during a regularly scheduled shift
- Epic EMR used for charting
Requirements
- Active RN license, CO Single State or Compact
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA certifications must not expire prior to start)
- Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including health teaching and counseling
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Review and monitor ongoing therapy and treatment plans
- Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
- Allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screen results through a specific vendor
- Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
