Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 2 years of acute care experience and a CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
- 30 staffed beds
- Rotating 3x12 shifts, including both day (7:00-19:30) and night (19:00-7:30) shifts
- Scheduled to work all days of the week with weekend shifts per unit needs
- No on-call requirements
- Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6 at night and 1:5 during the day, with flexibility based on staffing needs
- Uses Epic for charting
- Required to float within scope to inpatient acute care med/surg units within the hospital
- May be asked to float to sister facilities in the metro area, including Broomfield, Highlands Ranch, and Longs Peak Hospitals
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
- Must be comfortable working in environments with flexible, flexing nurse-to-patient ratios
Additional Information
- First-time travelers accepted as long as they meet required experience
- Accepts local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility at a local rate
