Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring 3+ years of experience and CST certification with call rotation responsibilities.
Details
- Operating Room setting with 10 ORs
- Patient population includes General, Orthopedic, Spine, Neuro, GYN, ENT, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and Open Heart cases
- Various OR equipment used
- Epic EMR
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday with a rotating day off
- Weekend, weekday night, overnight, and holiday on-call rotation required
- No floating requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or compact)
- BLS certification required
- CST certification required
- Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience required
Additional Information
- Opportunity to work with a varied surgical caseload across multiple specialties
- Robotics training preferred
- Vascular and open heart experience preferred but not required
- Ideal candidate is positive, adaptable, self-starting, attentive, and able to anticipate needs
- Surgery scrubs provided
- First day reporting at North Entrance, yellow parking spots, check in at surgery waiting room and ask for the OR desk
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced bill rate
