Description
Registered Nurse
Location: Gardner, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 36-hour nights, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am, every 3rd weekend and holiday
Overview
This role provides direct inpatient nursing care with responsibilities that include assessment, care planning, medication administration, documentation, patient/family teaching, discharge preparation, and participation in multidisciplinary rounds. The position also includes critical care-related responsibilities such as telemetry, EKG interpretation, mechanical ventilation support, hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive drip management, and post-operative recovery monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- BLS
- ACLS
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Previous telemetry experience
Preferred Certification
- CCRN
