• Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• EMR: Cerner experience preferred

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry or related acute care nursing experience
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and time-management skills
• Ability to provide safe, efficient, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient assignments and evolving care needs

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Perform patient assessments, monitor telemetry rhythms, and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and provider orders
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team
• Prioritize and delegate care appropriately to support safe patient outcomes
• Document care accurately in Cerner or other EMR systems and maintain clinical competencies through ongoing learning
• Promote a positive patient experience through compassionate, professional communication
