Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Day shift patient ratio 6:1, night shift ratio 7:1.

Highlights:

• 38-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit with comprehensive equipment including Baxter IV pumps, wound vacs, and SCDs
• Collaborative team environment with dedicated charge nurses, RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and unit support staff
• Cerner PowerChart EMR system
• Opportunity to utilize core med/surg skills including peripheral IV starts, dressing changes, and telemetry monitoring
• Standard float rotation to similar medical/surgical units and ED holding areas
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Professional dress code: all navy, all white, or white top with navy pants
