Location: Aurora, CO
Floor: 1st
Building: Main
General Information
- Number of Beds: 8 Holding Bays and 4 Cath / EP suites
- Number of Staff: 16
- Type of Staff:
- Day Shift - 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Night Shift - rotating on call
- Patient Ratios: 3 staff to 1 patient in the Cath Lab procedural area
- Type of Equipment: Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, CardioLab for EP
- EMR: Meditech
Typical Hiring Profile
Required Skills: Candidates without these qualifications will not be considered for the role.
- Minimum 6 months of current Cath Lab Tech experience
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT (R) certification
- RCIS or RCES certification
- If RCIS or RCES certified, must be willing and able to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado prior to starting
Preferred Skills: Candidates with the following qualifications will be prioritized.
- ARRT (CI) or (CV) certification
- Experience in scrubbing and monitoring
- Prior experience with Meditech
Typical Procedures Performed
- Left Heart Catheterizations (LHC)
- Right Heart Catheterizations (RHC)
- EP Ablations
- Pacers and ICD implantations
- Cardioversion procedures
- Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
- Tilt Table Tests
- Electrophysiology and Structural Heart procedures
- Monitoring skills and Right Heart monitoring

Unit Guidelines and Policies
Rotating call schedule includes two weekends and 9-12 days of call in a 6-week period.
