Job Opportunity: Case Manager (Registered Nurse)
Location: Santa Rosa, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (Case Management)
- Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Total Hours per Week: 40
- Start Date: ASAP
- Charting System: Epic
- Floating: May be required to float between similar units based on need
- Weekends: 2 weekends every 6 weeks required
- Call: Not required
- Locals accepted

Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty (Registered Nurse)
- First-time travelers accepted with clinical approval
- Prior travel experience: Not required
Required Qualifications & Certifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Case Management experience with a minimum of 2 years, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Background & Compliance Requirements
- Background check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
- Education verification required for nursing degree (international education requires diploma/transcript)
- Drug screen (9 panel) within 12 months of start; instants acceptable with attestation
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Immunizations and health screenings required:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer/declination
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer/declination
- Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season or declination
- COVID vaccination record preferred (declinations accepted)
- Respiratory safety clearance required annually for respirator use (travel only)
- WA and OR state-specific background and registry checks as applicable (not required for CA placements)
Documentation & History
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years (7 years for APN/Subcontractors) with month/year format
- Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within last 3 years
- Skills checklist updated annually as applicable
- Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background) required
Additional Requirements
- Float policy acknowledgment required (may float to other facilities within reasonable distance)
- Completion of required WorkRamp modules and facility-specific training prior to start, including:
- Annual regulatory requirements
- Specialty-specific modules for ER, L&D, leadership roles, hospice/home health/assisted living as applicable
- Regional core and specialty-specific modules for California
- Epic training modules as required
- Compliance with all facility and system-level policies and procedures

- This position does not require on-call duties.
- Candidates may be required to complete additional certifications or training based on unit assignment or clinical track.
- All certifications and background checks must be current and verifiable prior to start.
- Candidates with international education must provide appropriate credential verification.
