- 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
- No on-call responsibility
- Approximately 40 hours per week
Job Description
- Perform CT scan technical procedures under supervision of medical leadership in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center.
- Create diagnostic images using CT modality.
- Provide patients with a safe and positive experience.
- Support teaching and continuous learning as technology evolves.
- Perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (including intensive care), emergency room patients, trauma cases, research patients, and those requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures.
- Enforce radiation safety measures according to New York State Department of Health code part 16.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Graduation from high school
Licensure & Certification
- Valid CT Technologist license in New York
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current BLS certification
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
