Work Schedule

• Night shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology / Cardiology specialty

Licensure & Certifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New York
• CT Technologist experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA provider/instructor/RQI accepted)
• EPIC charting experience required

Candidate Eligibility

• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates must live within a 75-mile radius

Facility Type

• Tertiary Care Hospital with 528 staffed beds

Required Pre-Employment and Onboarding Documentation

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• 7-year criminal background check (including felony, SSN trace, national criminal, sex offender, education verification)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 3 months of start, updated monthly
• Foreign education equivalency evaluation if applicable
• Education verification from primary source (no hard copy degrees)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start, updated annually (specific mask types accepted)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start; TB questionnaire accepted in lieu of annual renewal
• Immunizations or positive titers for: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Drug screening within 30 days of start (includes amphetamines, cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, opiates, etc.)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination during flu season
• Snellen eye exam within 1 year of start
• COVID vaccination copy preferred but not required

Additional Requirements

• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement
• Primary source verification of state license within 30 days of start
• Medication/pharmacology competency exam as required
• Color blindness testing (one-time)
• Competency exam as required by specialty
• Photo for badge (passport-style with solid background)
• Employment application and work history verification (minimum 2 past employments)
• Skills checklist required annually

Notes

• Various facility-specific attestations and forms must be completed prior to or during onboarding
• Fingerprinting and additional background checks may be required for certain units (Mental Health, Behavioral Health, Home Health Aide, LTC) — check if applicable
• References required only for direct hire candidates (2 references within 3 years)
