Description

Cath Lab Tech

Role Overview

Travel/contract assignment in Radiology / Cardiology
Based in Highlands Ranch, Colorado
Unit has 1 room
Daily caseload per tech: 4–6
Shift is 4x10s; some weeks may require 5x8s instead
Call and holidays are required
May occasionally support Vascular cases and assist IR with patient prep
Scrubs are provided
Equipment manufacturer: Phillips

Required Qualifications

Cath Lab Technologist with 1 year of experience
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
CCI RCES or CCI RCIS
Experience with right and left heart hemodynamics
Experience with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
Experience with pericardiocentesis
Experience with Impella
Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
Experience with temporary pacemakers
Experience with electrophysiology (EP) mapping and ablation

Preferred

ACLS

Scheduling / On-Call

On-call required: 5p–7a Mon–Fri; 7a–7a Sat/Sun

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
