Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Multiple shift options available: 06:45-15:15, 14:45-19:15, 22:45-07:15
• Schedule options include 3x12 hour shifts, 2x8 hour and 2x12 hour shifts, or 5x8 hour shifts
• Weekend rotation every 4th weekend (Saturday-Sunday)
• Holiday coverage required
• On-call responsibilities dependent on shifts/service line with 30-minute response time required
• OR operates 24/7, 365 days a year
• Monday-Friday operations 07:30-23:00, skeleton crew for trauma and urgent cases after 23:00
• Saturday-Sunday operations 07:00-17:00, skeleton crew for trauma and urgent cases after 17:00
• 2-3 years of acute care experience required
• Must be able to scrub and circulate
• Critical care experience preferred
• Level 1-2 trauma experience required
• EPIC experience required
• BLS certification required
• Handle approximately 60-75 cases per day
• Work with outpatient, inpatient, and trauma cases
• Case types include general surgery, GYN, urology, robotics, vascular, ortho, neuro, open hearts/CABGS, transplants, and 20% pediatric cases
• No floating required
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Free parking available
• Sleeping room available for on-call team members

Facility:

This major medical center is a 794-bed Level I Trauma Center with Magnet designation and serves as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The facility features a 28-bed operating room with 2 hybrid rooms for cardiovascular and vascular procedures. The organization provides comprehensive surgical services including transplant capabilities, advanced trauma care, and participates in organ donation cases. The facility utilizes modern technology including EPIC EMR system, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing.
