Travel RN – Labor & Delivery
Location
Chattanooga, TN
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor & Delivery unit throughout the night shift
- Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Administer medications, interpret fetal monitoring strips, and respond to obstetric emergencies
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with electronic health records and fetal monitoring
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a facility with a Level III NICU
- AWHONN fetal monitoring certification or equivalent
- Previous travel nursing experience
