Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Float Pool) – Days

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week | 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and clinical judgment in planning and delivering safe, high-quality patient care
- Float between multiple facilities within the network as part of a float pool assignment
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
- Willingness and ability to float between multiple facilities within the network
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Prior float pool or multi-facility travel nursing experience
