Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Oklahoma
• Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
• Experience in a(n) Long Term Care or Rehabilitation setting

Experience Notes

• New grads are considered if they have Level II experience, not just Level I observation experience.

Role Summary

• Screens and evaluates patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders.
• Develops and adjusts plans of care using standardized assessments and evidence-based practice.
• Provides rehabilitative treatment, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.
• Documents treatment, progress, discharge summaries, and treatment minutes in the electronic documentation system.
• Communicates with the supervisor and other health team members about patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
• May supervise and support occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students.
