Overview

  • Travel RN position in an ICU
  • Location: Aurora, Colorado
  • Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit Details

  • 38-bed mixed ICU in a Level II Trauma Center
  • Patient population includes medical, surgical, cardiac, neurosurgery, and post-operative open-heart patients
  • Supports VV and VA ECMO, balloon pump, Impella, and CRRT
  • Typical patient ratio: 2:1 or 1:1 depending on acuity

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIHSS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

  • Meditech experience
  • CVICU/CTICU experience

Common Procedures / Responsibilities

  • Bedside bronchoscopy
  • GI scopes
  • Chest tube insertion
  • Arterial and central line insertions
  • Airway care
  • Frequent drip titrations
