Overview

Travel RN position in an ICU
Location: Aurora, Colorado
Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit Details

38-bed mixed ICU in a Level II Trauma Center
Patient population includes medical, surgical, cardiac, neurosurgery, and post-operative open-heart patients
Supports VV and VA ECMO, balloon pump, Impella, and CRRT
Typical patient ratio: 2:1 or 1:1 depending on acuity

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

Meditech experience
CVICU/CTICU experience

Common Procedures / Responsibilities

Bedside bronchoscopy
GI scopes
Chest tube insertion
Arterial and central line insertions
Airway care
Frequent drip titrations
