Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Charge (Night Shift)

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery (L&D) Charge RN to join the Family Birth Place team. The role involves providing couplet care in L&D, OR, PACU, and postpartum settings, caring for babies 32 weeks and older. The team handles a high volume of births (approximately 60 deliveries per month) and focuses on evidence-based, compassionate, patient-centered care.

Work Schedule

12-hour night shifts
Rotating weekends
Call rotation approximately one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks (subject to change)
Approximately 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Minimum 4 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in Charge nurse roles in Labor and Delivery
American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
STABLE certification (post-resuscitation care for newborns)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
