Registered Nurse (CVICU/CCU) - Contract

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), including weekend rotation

Must participate in call rotation: 1 call shift every 2 weeks as needed in place of guaranteed hours

Job Description

Provide nursing care in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) with coverage in Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
Work includes supporting two Cath Labs, one of which is a Hybrid Cath Lab
Opportunity to work in a smaller, community-focused hospital setting
Aim to keep patients local while providing critical care

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Minimum 3 years of CVICU experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification
PALS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Information

Housing available: newly remodeled furnished studio and one-bedroom apartments near the hospital (utilities, Wi-Fi, laundry included) available to travelers based on availability
Weekly hours: approximately 36 hours
Call rotation replaces guaranteed hours when requested due to staffing needs

Ensure correct Social Security number and date of birth to avoid onboarding delays
Out-of-state agencies must register appropriately for Colorado CAPS system compliance
