Unit Details

• Progressive care neuro trauma unit
• 23 beds
• Typical staffing includes 6–7 RNs and 2 aides on both day and night shifts
• Patient ratio: 4:1
• Equipment includes bedside monitors, end tidal O2 monitoring, high flow, chronic vents, and subdural drains
• Common procedures include chest tubes and EEGs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Hampshire
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Telemetry experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Neuro experience
• Trauma experience
• NIHSS
• TNCC

Work Environment

• Floating may include all inpatient units, including ICU and ED
• Weekend rotation: every other weekend
• No on-call requirement
• Team-oriented environment
