Overview
- Specialty: Cardiovascular prep and recovery (outpatient procedural area)
- Location: Kansas City, Missouri
- Employment type: Travel
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- Schedule: No weekends, no holidays, no call
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- 1 year of telemetry experience
- ACLS
- BLS
Job Responsibilities
- Admit patients
- Obtain patient histories for cath and EP lab procedures
- Start IVs
- Recover patients after moderate sedation
- Monitor access sites
- Assess and monitor groin and wrist access sites
- Hold pressure on bleeding post-cath and EP lab access sites
