Overview

Specialty: Cardiovascular prep and recovery (outpatient procedural area)
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36
Shift: 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Schedule: No weekends, no holidays, no call

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Telemetry experience within the last year
1 year of telemetry experience
ACLS
BLS

Job Responsibilities

Admit patients
Obtain patient histories for cath and EP lab procedures
Start IVs
Recover patients after moderate sedation
Monitor access sites
Assess and monitor groin and wrist access sites
Hold pressure on bleeding post-cath and EP lab access sites
