Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced RN for a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) role covering Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU care. This position requires working varied day shifts with no weekend or on-call requirements.

Work Schedule

• Shift Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM (varied day shifts, 5 days a week, 8 hours each)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: None
• On-Call Requirements: None

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Virginia
• Minimum 2 years of PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) experience, including experience within the last year
• Pre-Op experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records system

Unit Information

• Patient Ratios: 2:1
• Patient Population: All ages with various co-morbidities
• Float Requirements: None

Additional Details

• Scrub color will be provided; attire must comply with facility dress code policy
• Start Date: June 1st (no earlier start date accepted)
