Respiratory Therapist – NICU

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Avon, Indiana
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU (2 years of experience)
• Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure

Schedule Requirements

• Holiday coverage required
• Every other weekend required
• Must work 2 of 3 holidays, as determined by leadership

Work Setting

• Rotates across Emergency Department, Adult ICU, Adult Med Surg, Adult Progressive Care Unit, Labor & Delivery, and NICU
• May assist with pediatric care in the emergency department
• Floats between high-risk deliveries, NICU II, adult acute care, and ER based on need and skill set

Additional Notes

• Best fit is an adult traveler with Labor & Delivery experience
• Not a home-based position
