18 OR suites plus 2 minor rooms
Patient ratio: 1:1
Documentation system: Meditech
Call requirements: 24-hour trauma service coverage, 12-hour shifts, alternate weekends, on-call assignments
Staffing includes support staff such as orderlies, anesthesia techs, and unit secretaries

Typical Procedures

Total joint procedures
Robotic gynecology oncology
Craniotomy procedures
Circulating for trauma, general, orthopedic, neuro, and vascular procedures

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of OR Circulate experience, including experience within the last year
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC

Additional Information

No prior travel experience required
Surgical scrubs provided as dress code

Pros

I worked in the Respiratory department. The Respiratory manager Alex was a fantastic woman. She does all the on boarding education and she’s your number one person to call for any clinical information scheduling information. She was fantastic.

They need to upgrade their RT equipment and their charting system
