Overview

• Travel RN role in Critical Care Step-Down
• 3 openings
• 7p-7a shift
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Work every other weekend for 24 hours
• No call requirements
• 13-week contract
• 1st to float

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg experience
• Experience with Meditech

Preferred

• Post cardiac cath care
• Peritoneal Dialysis

Unit Details

• Floor: CCSD
• Trauma Level: 3
• 22 beds
• Patient ratio: 4:1
• Patient population: 18-year-old and up

Additional Notes

• Must know Meditech
• Equipment includes cardiac monitors, suction, O2, and vital sign machines
• Common diagnoses/treatments include cardiac, sepsis, acute respiratory failure, CHF exacerbation, post-op, and CIWA
• Scrub color: Navy blue
