Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
Telemetry rhythm capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS

Unit Details

Day shift staffing: 1 Charge, 6-7 RNs, 3 CNAs, 1 Huc
Night shift staffing: 1 Charge, 5-7 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 Huc
Day shift patient ratio: 1:4-6
Typical procedures: IV fluids, tube feeds, peg feedings, IV antibiotics

Floating

Other med surg units
Holding Pod of ED, occasionally

Schedule

Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per pay period

Additional Notes

EMR: Cerner
Dress code: Navy Blue
Must follow HCA policies
Attend huddles at 0650 AM shift or 1850 PM shift
Must clock out and in for meal breaks
Must clock in no earlier than 0638 or 1838 depending on shift
