MRI Technologist

Overview

• Temp assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts
• Nights, 8 hours per day
• 26-week contract

Required Qualifications

• 2 years current Magnetic Resonance Imaging/MRI experience
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (MR) certification
• GE Equipment experience
• Active American Heart Association BLS
• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
• Must be willing to take call as needed
• Traveler must have their own vehicle
• Permanent address must be included in the profile
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
• Must work one holiday block if scheduled/needed: Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after, or New Year Eve through New Year Day and the weekend after
• Will not consider travelers who reside within 50 miles of the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Meditech Expanse experience

Work Setting

• GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0
• Approximately 9 patients per shift
• Will always work with another Tech Aide or another MRI Tech/Traveler; will never work solo
• After midnight, the department is covered by call
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation
