RN 24/7 AD/DIP - PICU/NICU

Assignment Details

  • 13-week travel assignment
  • 36 hours per week
  • Day/night rotation: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730
  • Every 3rd weekend required
  • Floating required as needed
  • Option for 48 guaranteed hours may be discussed at offer

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Minnesota
  • PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
  • PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • 6 months or more of total travel experience
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
  • Experience in a Critical Care setting
  • Intubated patient care experience
  • Solid organ transplant experience
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCRN certification
  • TCTCN certification
  • Solid organ transplant experience

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate, associate, or diploma nursing program
  • If the nursing program was not accredited by ACEN or CCNE, at least 1 year of RN experience in an applicable care setting within the last 5 years is required
  • If graduation was more than 2 years ago, 1 year of RN experience in an applicable care setting is required

  • Provides direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care
  • Supports nursing practice across settings and the care continuum
  • Specializes in critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
  • Cares for medically complex pediatric patients, including transplant, trauma, cardiac, neurological, pulmonary, and multi-organ cases
