Overview

Travel RN assignment in Labor and Delivery
36 guaranteed hours per week
1 opening
13-week contract
Weekly orientation on Mondays
Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered travel

Unit Details

Labor and Delivery / Nursery / Postpartum
5 L&D beds
Patient ratios: 1:1 on Pitocin, 1:2 otherwise
Float requirements: as needed
Call requirements: 2 shifts of call in a 6-week period
Weekend requirement: every other weekend, rotating/as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS
AWHONN
BLS
NRP
Ability to interpret fetal heart rate strips
Experience circulating for C-sections

Preferred Qualifications

PALS
Centricity experience
Meditech experience
Couplet care experience

Additional Clinical Notes

OB Tracevue is used for charting strips
The unit performs its own c-sections
