Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Scrubbing experience in the cardiac catheterization lab

Preferred Qualifications

Holding experience
Monitoring experience

Unit Details

Cardiac cath lab
3 holding bays and 2 cath suites
9 staff members
Patient ratio: 3 staff to 1 patient
Equipment includes GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab
EMR used: Meditech

Procedures

LHC
RHC
PCI
Peripheral diagnostic and intervention
Pacers
ICDs
Cardioversions
TEE
Tilt table tests
Dobutamine stress test

Scheduling Notes

1 to 2 call shifts per week
About every third weekend
Must be housed within 30 minutes of the cath lab
