Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Shift: Evening (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM)
- Schedule: 3x12 shifts, every other weekend (EOW) required
- Call: Required, every other week
- Floating: As needed
- Holidays: As needed
- Patient Population: May include COVID-19 patients
- Facility Environment: Tobacco and fragrance-free
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, with experience within the last year
- ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Health and Immunization Requirements
- Physical Exam: Required within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT
- Vaccinations/Immunity:
- Hepatitis B: Positive titer or full vaccine series (3 doses) plus declination form if applicable
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): Vaccines (2 doses) or positive titers; boosters required if titers negative or equivocal
- Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer; boosters required if titers negative or equivocal
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap: Required within 10 years of start
- Flu Vaccine: Required during flu season or valid medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted)
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Required or valid medical/religious exemption/declination accepted
- Tuberculosis Screening: Negative QGold or TSpot test within 90 days of start (PPD not accepted); if positive, negative chest X-ray within 1 year and annual TB questionnaire required
- Respiratory Safety Clearance: Required within 1 year of start, renew annually
- Drug Testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 year (specific to agency requirements)
Documentation and Compliance
- Photo for Badge: Clear, passport-style photo required
- Facility-Specific Documents: Candidate must review and sign:
- Code of Conduct
- Confidentiality Agreement
- Commitment to Health & Wellness
- Non-Employee Affidavit
- Hepatitis B Declination (if applicable)
- Safety and Security Vehicle Registration (if applicable)
- Learning Management System (LMS) Modules: Required for RNs; must be completed on PC/laptop prior to start
- New Hire Orientation: Must be completed by end of first day of orientation
Additional Information
- Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
- Pre-Screening: Clinical review and manager interview required before final approval
- Local Rate: Position is travel/contract; local rate adjustments apply (pay details excluded)
