Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Location

Fort Wayne, Indiana

Employment Type

Travel contract
Duration: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday
Four 10-hour shifts (06:30 AM – 05:00 PM)
On-call 1-2 shifts per week from 05:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Approximately 36 hours per week

Job Description / Responsibilities

Circulate surgical cases and manage all nursing care within the operating room
Observe the surgical team from a broad perspective
Assist the team in creating and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for patients during surgery

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of OR Circulate experience, including experience within the last year
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
Experience working with Pediatric patients in the Operating Room
Experience with da Vinci robotic surgery system
Neuro-spine, cranial, and neurosurgery experience
Orthopedic trauma experience
Experience using Cerner EMR
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Valid Driver's License
