Job Overview

Shift: Night, 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Hours per week: 48 preferred
Contract length: 13 weeks
Start timeframe: Within the next 3–5 weeks
Unit coverage: ICU, with possible floating to progressive care and medical-surgical units

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
Med Surg experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS

Additional Notes

May consider 36/48 alternating schedule
PALS is required for longer-term ICU assignments and may be obtained within 1 year
TNCC is required for ER and may be obtained within 1 year for longer-term ICU assignments
NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, EFM, ENPC, and other listed certifications are required only if applicable to the assignment
Pass/fail testing is completed during orientation
Candidate must complete required pre-start forms and health documentation before start
