• Nights
• 36 hours per week
• 3 shifts per week
• 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Illinois
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC

Role Overview

• Assess patients’ mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care with the multidisciplinary team
• Provide health teaching and counseling to support patient health
• Use clinical judgment and critical thinking to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Document care accurately and on time in the medical record
• Support patient safety and quality of care through policy and procedure development
• Supervise and delegate to licensed practical nurses and unlicensed assistant personnel
• Advocate for patients by communicating and collaborating with other health service professionals
